On February 7, 2025, at approximately 12:40 AM, officers with the Bryan Police Department in Texas responded to the 500 block of East 18th Street after receiving a 911 call from a man who told the operator he had just shot and killed his girlfriend. When officers arrived, they made contact with the caller and detained him without incident. Inside the home, they found 23-year-old Alexis Walls deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. But she was not the only person in that house. Her 18-month-old son was also inside. Officers located the child and ensured he was safe.
