About Lenswatch
A SEARCHABLE INDEX
OF PUBLIC FOOTAGE.
What Lenswatch does
Lenswatch makes public bodycam, police, interrogation, incident, and true-crime videos easier to find. It collects public metadata from selected YouTube channels—titles, descriptions, thumbnails, dates, durations, tags, and public statistics—and organizes it into one searchable catalog.
The videos stay with the publisher
Lenswatch does not download, edit, or re-upload videos. Embeddable videos play through YouTube, and every entry includes a direct link to the original upload. The original publisher controls the video and its surrounding context.
How the index stays current
Each listed channel is checked daily through the YouTube Data API. New public uploads are added, public statistics are refreshed, and videos that are no longer available are removed from the active catalog during a full source check.
Important context
Titles and descriptions may reflect the wording or viewpoint of the original publisher. A Lenswatch category is an indexing label, not a legal finding or statement about any person shown. Viewers should consult the original upload and official records when context matters.
