* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only) Jonesboro, Arkansas — On June 7, 2026, at 8:17 a.m., an officer with the Jonesboro Police Department attempted to make a vehicle stop on South Culberhouse. The driver quickly accelerated and left the scene of the initial stop. The vehicle traveled through a stop sign without slowing for oncoming traffic, and the officer witnessed several other traffic violations. The vehicle was registered to an owner on Nisbett Street, and the officer proceeded to go to that location to gather more information about its occupants. Once they turned south onto Nisbett Street, they saw the vehicle parked in a gravel parking lot behind an apartment. Additional units arrived on scene and cleared the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Jerry Cornealious Brown. Eyewitnesses spotted the suspect running away from the area. He was located a short time later, obeyed verbal commands, and was arrested on the scene. Charges include fleeing, possession of a controlled substance, driving with a suspended license, failure to appear, an out-of-town warrant, and reckless driving. An article search was conducted in the area where Brown was arrested. During the search, the K9 partner, identified as Rocky, had scaled a fence. In an attempt to retrieve K9 Rocky, his handler, Officer Zach Hobbs, lifted the dog back to his side. The dog was potentially scraped and yelped during that attempt and began biting Officer Hobbs. An ASP Trooper assisted in restraining the dog, and Officer Hobbs received multiple bite wounds to both arms and the upper right thigh. Hobbs did seek further treatment from an area hospital. The next day, both Officer Hobbs and K9 Rocky were reunited. 🚨𝑇ℎ𝑖𝑠…
