ABOUT THIS VIDEO
His release date is 2122. He will be 131 years old. He is never getting out. A boyfriend accuses his girlfriend of cheating after finding Facebook messages with other men. What happens next lasts for hours. When cops arrive at her door and put on gloves, what she shows them is something they won't forget. In this video, we break down the body camera footage, the 911 call, and the full investigation into one of the most disturbing domestic violence cases to come out of Michigan. On July 23, 2022, officers with the Van Buren Township Police Department responded to Parkwood Apartments after receiving a call about a domestic incident. When they arrived, the victim showed officers what her boyfriend had done to her. The injuries were so severe that during the court proceedings, the prosecutor requested the courtroom livestream be shut off because the evidence was too graphic for public broadcast. The suspect fled the scene in the victim's vehicle. A warrant was issued for his arrest. Weeks later, he was tracked down and taken into custody. He was charged with torture, criminal sexual conduct in the first degree, assault with intent to do great bodily harm, unlawful driving away of a motor vehicle, two counts of felonious assault, and aggravated domestic violence. Bond was set at $250,000. This was not his first time in the system. He had prior felony convictions including first-degree home invasion and unlawful imprisonment. He served near-minimum on both sentences and was released back into the community. He was convicted and sentenced to prison. His earliest possible parole date is 2087. His maximum release date is September 12, 2122. He will never be a free man again. The victim survived. ⚠️ NOTE: Any animations used in this video are for illustrative purposes only and…
