* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only) Sandy Springs, Georgia — On June 22, 2026, Sandy Springs Police officers took the driver, identified as Jared Juwann Pierce into custody after a vehicle pursuit entered Sandy Springs from neighboring jurisdictions. During the pursuit, Pierce drove at speeds exceeding 110 mph, endangered other motorists, and repeatedly refused to stop. Officers successfully performed multiple (PIT) maneuvers in an effort to safely end the pursuit, but Pierce continued to flee before ultimately abandoning the vehicle and attempting to escape on foot. He was apprehended after a brief foot pursuit. No members of the public were injured.
