ABOUT THIS VIDEO

A crew of six kidnaps a woman at gunpoint. But she's not the person they're looking for. They wanted her boyfriend. What happens over the next three days is something that shook an entire city and brought the FBI to a burned down house on Savannah Avenue. In this video, we break down the body camera footage, the FBI investigation, and the full story behind one of the most disturbing kidnapping cases to come out of Ohio. On November 4, 2021, a 21-year-old woman was taken at gunpoint along with two other women. The two others were eventually let go. She was not. The crew believed her boyfriend was responsible for the death of one of their family members. They couldn't find him. So they took her instead. She was held overnight at one of the suspect's homes. During that time, she was beaten and tortured. The following day, she was driven to an abandoned house and shot by two members of the group. A third member attempted to fire but her weapon malfunctioned. Five days later, on November 9, 2021, her body was found in the basement of the same abandoned house. The building had been set on fire. The FBI and East Cleveland Police Department launched a full investigation. One by one, all six suspects were identified, arrested, and brought to trial. The case went through a mistrial before all six were ultimately convicted. The ringleader received life in prison without the possibility of parole plus 25 years. The second shooter received life without parole plus 3 years. The remaining defendants received sentences ranging from 23 years to life. She was 21 years old. She was not the person they were looking for. And she never made it home. ✍️ If you're interested in learning how YouTube bodycam crime scripts are actually written, I put together a practical guide covering…
